Actibrain is a secure, fun and interesting website specifically for UK schools.  Actibrain is designed to stimulate and motivate the minds of young people by using a range of activities.  Brain Training activities are grouped into 5 categories; numerical, verbal, spatial, memory and logical.

Recent research by LTS in Scotland (2007), BECTA (2005), Futurelab (2005, 2006) and ELSPA (2006) has made progress in demonstrating how these emerging theories on game based learning are beginning to find themselves embedded in ‘chalk-face’ contexts in schools throughout the UK.

Actibrain embraces the theories that game based learning can help in many areas of the curriculum and can make the school day more interesting and varied.  We recommend that the children do Actibrain daily for 10 to 15 minutes.  Morning registration time is an ideal time.  The activities can also be played in practice mode as rewards or at home.

Actibrain is priced on an annual subscription of £1 per user and represents excellent value for money for both primary and secondary schools.  You can make substantial savings for your second year subscriptions by introducing other schools to the Actibrain.
